Withered and old and lonely

alone in disarray.

Feelings torn and tattered

words without place.



Alone I sit and wonder

Why am I alive?

To once again find heartbreak?

or take another dive?



I sit here watching daarkness

cover over me.

No one to hold and love me

death will set me free.

endless heart break

Stuck inside my crimson dreams

cant seem to find

what my life means.

Cutting and burning are the feelings I hide

thirsting for blood

will my urges subside?

Unending torment mingled with fears

nights spent alone

flooded with tears.

A longing to be someone more than I am

I've failed everyone

I'm a shell of a man.

Sitting here lonely I'm writing these words

the pain is unbearable

of that I'm assured.

Just waiting here counting as days pass me by

blood and tears mix

as I wait here to die.
